Black Glossy Deer. WOW are these ever beautiful hides. Tanning leather is like alchemy…and magic art that seems to be effected by the mood in the air, the stages of the moon and even barometric high or low pressure….Well this batch of black deer is wonderful soft and quite glossy/shinny. And I don’t know if it will ever happen again…lol. Enjoy these beautiful hide…while we have them. In the gallery the hides on the left are Matt and the hides on the right are glossy. I think it is pretty clear.

Please note that we are offering 2 tiers of discounts on our leather this year. Purchase 25 sq ft and get 5% off or 50 sq ft and get 10% off all leather. ‘Seconds’ leather, is leather that is of slightly lower quality. Generally it might have a couple more holes and the skin side will not be perfect. BUT if you are using the suede side out in your project then this is a great way to save some $$.

The item I got surpassed my expectations. The gasp I gasped when I opened the box and removed the paper! This is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and it was a pleasure to engage with the staff via email when I had questions. I will treasure this piece and be returning for more!

The custom painted horse in the spirit of my wife's late horse brings her joy every time she uses it. It's going on over a year old with heavy use and it looks as perfect as the day I unwrapped it from being shipped.

I buy all the hide and fur I use for making moccasins from Tribal Spirit. The quality is amazing, and the variety is much appreciated. I also really love the traditional medicines they have available. There is often a kind note in the delivery - handwritten telling you that they sent a little extra. 🥺 As a customer, I feel a connection with this store - from the descriptions they create to describe a colour of hide, to the small batch herbal remedies, to the very fast response and kind you’ll receive if you have a question. 10 stars.
