Introducing Sunflower Moose Leather 3.5 ounce. We are trying to streamline some of our colours. Over the years we have 3 colours that have all been variations of GOLD. We now officially giving them their very own names to try to eliminate confusion for you and us!! Sunflower has been described in the past as a Dark Gold. The colour is great, it is richer and deeper that our regular gold.

Product Description

This leather is PERFECT leather for moccasin and mitt making. Easily sewn by hand, this leather is smooth one side and suede the other. Extremely soft and supple but will make a pair of moccs that will last for years. We gather our hides from local hunters who are feeding their families but don’t need the hides.

Our 3.5oz SunFlower is by far our most popular leather as it is so amazing for so many projects. We recommend glovers needles # 5 or # 6 for sewing. (5 better for newbies, 6 for more experienced sewers) Available in individual quarter pieces (like these pictures) and bundles of 25 or 50sqft.

Please note that we are offering 2 tiers of discounts on our leather this year. Purchase 25 sq ft and get 5% off or 50 sq ft and get 10% off all leather. (prices have been adjusted to reflect this on our website)

The item I got surpassed my expectations. The gasp I gasped when I opened the box and removed the paper! This is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and it was a pleasure to engage with the staff via email when I had questions. I will treasure this piece and be returning for more!

The custom painted horse in the spirit of my wife's late horse brings her joy every time she uses it. It's going on over a year old with heavy use and it looks as perfect as the day I unwrapped it from being shipped.

I buy all the hide and fur I use for making moccasins from Tribal Spirit. The quality is amazing, and the variety is much appreciated. I also really love the traditional medicines they have available. There is often a kind note in the delivery - handwritten telling you that they sent a little extra. 🥺 As a customer, I feel a connection with this store - from the descriptions they create to describe a colour of hide, to the small batch herbal remedies, to the very fast response and kind you’ll receive if you have a question. 10 stars.
